Kimmy Dora,” Uge competes not with just any co-star but with herself, playing the role of twin sisters Kimmy and Dora who are a study in contrasts in personality and demeanor.

Where Kimmy is the overbearing, domineering and ultra-capable executive, Dora is sweet, kind if a little slow. When their aging father falls ill and amends his will, Kimmy hatches a plot against her clueless sister, but through some confusion and miscommunication, the wrong sister is kidnapped and Dora must step into the shoes of her dragon sibling.

The zany confusion that follows, with Dora forced to adopt her sister’s personality and Kimmy literally wallowing in the mud, is the comic height of the movie. It’s not easy keeping the two contrasting sisters apart – and we must pay homage to Domingo and to her stylists that the audience is never in doubt as to which character she inhabits at a time. Even if, in one particularly hilarious sketch, Dora must be both Kimmy and herself by turns, until she begins mixing elements of both to much merriment and to her father’s (Ariel Ureta) confusion. “Are you on drugs?” he finally confronts his harried daughter. http://opinion.inquirer.net/inquireropinion/columns/view/20090830-222648/Treat-yourself-to-Kimmy-Dora
